The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) was announced in Budget 2021 by the Government of Canada. Its purpose is to help small business launch or improve digital presence including e-commerce.
The "Grow Your Business Online Grant" offers up to $2,400 to support ecommerce implementation and improvement, and includes a connection with ecommerce advisors. This grant is designed for companies who sell direct to consumers.
The "Boost Your Business Technology Grant" is up to $15,000 and intended for companies who are ready to adopt new digital technologies in their operations (ex: inventory control, customer relation management system). Grant recipients will have access to digital advisors to help them identify their needs and implement a program best for them.
