Congratulations are in order for two District Ventures Accelerator alumni. Laura Incognito of Little Tucker and Graydon Moffat of Graydon Skincare were recently recognized for their accomplishments as businesswomen in their respective industries in Top 40: Over and Under 40.
Incognito, owner of Little Tucker, was named one of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2019. Since 1998, the prestigious title of Top 40 Under 40 celebrates accomplished entrepreneurs in the community who are propelling the economy forward and are inspiring others to take a leap in the direction of their own dreams.
Incognito started creating plant-based energy balls more than four years ago. Since then, her Little Tucker energy balls have made their way to local farmers markets, and her treats have been highly requested by the local cafes, fitness studios and members of the community, eventually making it all the way across Canada. Founder of Graydon Skincare, Moffat was acknowledged as a member of Beauty Independent’s Top 40 Over 40. The list highlights 40 indie beauty brands that are led by founders who are breaking the conventions of the beauty industry.
Moffat started her plant-based skincare line out of the need for skincare remedies that were based on natural, superfood ingredients. Now, Graydon Skincare has grown by incorporating even more proven superfood actives like botanical retinol, oligo peptides and collagen into the skincare line.
